This is different than any Step class you’ve ever seen. Simple movements, slow music and a focus on quality and perfect execution is what makes this format an intelligent approach to stepping. We finish with some Pilates and Yoga-based movements to create a full mind/body workout. This session will teach you how to format a class that offers your participants everything they want and need.

Can’t get your legs to stretch behind your ears? No problem. This workshop is for you. Learn the basics to incorporating simple yoga, Tai Chi and other stretching techniques into your class design. You will learn how to give careful consideration to the mind, body and the spirit. You will learn how to nurture your classes, move people’s emotions and invoke change from your participants. This workshop will leave you feeling revitalized, energized and ready to bring relaxation and joy into your stretching segments!

Muscle in Motion: |

By slowing down the music, utilizing light hand weights, putting “mind into muscle” and incorporating strong and purposeful movements, you can create a workout that is aerobically effective, challenging on your muscular system and develops excellent posture and body awareness. This workout has become very popular in the fitness industry because it achieves results without exposing the body to the impact stresses associated with traditional high-impact classes. Come and learn how to “lengthen while you strengthen”. It’s the exact type of workout our clients want and need!
