Our marketing for the Spring Makeover Challenge states:
“Besides the health benefits and bragging rights… each week we award the individual who loses the most weight with a gift… a $25 NWPT gift certificate!
All participants will receive their finishers’ gift at the end of the challenge!”
In addition to these prizes we like to give prize donations to the top female and male overall challenge participants.

How to Ge Prize Donations
Giving prize donations such as massages, facials, a free nights stay at a bed & breakfast or coupons to local businesses is free for you, great advertising for the local business and fun for the winner of the prize. The trick is finding businesses who will donate.
Our fitness & training director just sent an email out to our team assigning two team members to:
Meet
Come up with a list of businesses to ask about donations.
Assign the list of businesses to personal trainers/team members who have extra admin time…who will contact the local business and ask for donations.
She also asked the entire team if they have any connections with a local business that they think might donate.
Make it worth it to the local business to donate:
Highlight them in your social media posts etc.
Promise to announce their business at the final weigh in.
Announce their donation in your eNewsletter.
The Spring Makeover Challenge is mostly about motivation to hit weight loss goals, but the added competition for bragging rights and prizes makes it that much more fun. Get out there and see what kind of exciting donations you can drum up.
