How do you think your customer service stacks up? How do you treat your clients?
I recently read How to Win Friends and Influence People and found this passage:
…..always remember that people can copy most things, but they cannot copy the way you treat your customers. They cannot copy the feelings and emotions you bring into people’s lives. The best thing you can do to truly differentiate yourself is to have the goal of being the best gym in your area at customer experience. Shoot, I would aim for being the best business in your area at customer service. It will not be that hard to do as the majority of businesses simply do not provide quality customer service. If you try to compete with equipment or exercises its not going to last very long. People long for connection and they long for their status to be improved. The way you treat people may be all the differentiation you need.
I sent this passage on to our team and asked them if they think we have the best customer service? What do we do well? What needs improvement?
