A few weeks ago I told you about the full page print ad we ran in our local newspaper. Well, now we have a lot of potential new clients walking through our doors. So, what is the first step to getting them to start here at Northwest Personal Training? Customer Service!!

We have always prided our selves in top notch customer service. It sets us apart and makes people feel welcome. In the words of our Personal Training Director (to our Customer Service Representatives) …..

We have had a lot of  potential new clients coming in and every single one of them has mentioned how much they love the energy of our studio. I have to say that it starts with our CSR’s… you ladies are rocking it! Thanks so much for all that you do for our trainers and clients. Your role is so important and you are the absolute best at it!!

How do you think your customer service stacks up? How do you treat your clients?

I recently read How to Win Friends and Influence People and found this passage:

…..always remember that people can copy most things, but they cannot copy the way you treat your customers. They cannot copy the feelings and emotions you bring into people’s lives. The best thing you can do to truly differentiate yourself is to have the goal of being the best gym in your area at customer experience. Shoot, I would aim for being the best business in your area at customer service. It will not be that hard to do as the majority of businesses simply do not provide quality customer service. If you try to compete with equipment or exercises its not going to last very long. People long for connection and they long for their status to be improved. The way you treat people may be all the differentiation you need.

I sent this passage on to our team and asked them if they think we have the best customer service? What do we do well? What needs improvement?
