    10 Minute Quick Fix Workouts

    Our world is busier than ever and despite advances in the health and fitness industry, our population continues to get fatter and less fit. Since a lack of time is the number one reason people claim they don’t exercise, let's meet our clients where they are at and provide them 10 minute effective, full body workouts they can do anywhere using no or minimal equipment. Let’s approach fitness with the mindset that something is better than nothing, and teach our clients that if they sequence exercises effectively and maintain a solid intensity, 10 minutes can do the trick! You will learn a variety of ways to sequence 10 minute workouts that are efficient and produce results!

    Save Your Shoulders

    This session is an exploration of the rotator cuff and shoulder as it relates to pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying in the gym and beyond. You will learn optimal movement strategies for preventing or managing bursitis, tendonitis, muscle injuries and impingement syndromes. We will also explore integration of the thoracic spine for safe and effective front loading and overhead skill progressions. Move your way through dynamic warm-ups, mobility drills, weight bearing exercises and push/pull/lift/carry sequences in this dynamic session designed to reinvigorate your training.

    Short Circuits—Master the 30-Minute Training Model!

In this session, we'll uncover some truths about what clients want from their workouts, and learn how to create an amazing client experience in just 30 minutes. Leave with a workable system and templates so you can successfully integrate and coach 30-minute circuits. Also, get information on how to program for measureable results, price your services and market the 30-minute model in your facility or business


    Evidence-based Nutrition for Health and Fitness

    Being an effective fitness/health professional requires knowing and being able to share scientifically supported nutrition information with your clients. This session will give you the fundamentals so you can help clients reach their weight-loss, health, and longevity goals while staying within your scope of practice as a trainer/group exercise instructor.

Want to learn the tools to help your 40+ clients unlock their super powers on the way to Super human feats of strength. This Session can provide you with the what you need to help your middle age clients conquer the world.


    Optimal Movement and Performance for Low Back Health
    Jeni Gall (Active)
    This session is all about optimizing movement to improve performance while caring for the low back. We will address flexion, extension and rotation related injuries and how to effectively improve functional performance while adding dynamic and innovative sequences to your program planning.You will learn the difference between "global" and "differentiated" patterns of movement as it relates to the low back, so you can safely select exercise progressions for the unique needs of each client. We will also explore strategies for integrating thoracic and hip mobility sequences to reduce strain on the low back. Expect a combination of discussion and movement practice. 

    What to do to be prepared: For our out of town guests, if you are flying in, you should book your flights arriving into the Portland Oregon Airport (PDX). The event location is about a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport.
